Our successful, driven, and fun Field Development and Transition team is looking for a field development consultant to initiate and foster relationships with prospective Commonwealth advisors in our target market. Our goal of 100-percent satisfaction for our advisors means that everyone in our home office is driven to do whatever it takes to help them be their best every day.
* Proactively reaching out to prospective Commonwealth advisors, providing them with information about the firm, and evaluating for fit * Developing and maintaining relationships with these well-suited prospects; ensuring that the Commonwealth name and reputation are front of mind when considering a new broker/dealer * Suggesting creative new ways for our team to improve its recruitment approaches * Responding to inbound inquiries and requests for proposal * Coordinating and hosting advisor visits to our home office and traveling to prospective advisors' offices
* At least 3 years of experience in the financial services recruiting industry with either direct broker/dealer recruiting experience or sales experience * Self-starter who is motivated to fill pipeline with quality prospects * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Excellent listening and probing skills * Strong time management and organizational skills * Ability to excel in a team environment * FINRA Series 7 securities registration preferred * Experience with CRM software * Ability to travel 20 percent of the time
