As a Client Relationship Consultant, you will partner closely with our Sales team and our top level Broker partners to:

Deliver upon a strategic relationship plan that includes quarterly/annual goals

Provide expert renewal analysis

Exceptional service and selling of new lines of business

You will play an important role in delivering profitable revenue growth of an assigned block of in force group business by developing and implementing customized strategies. This will be done through strategy discussions with our sales representatives and brokers.

In addition, individuals in this role will be seen as industry experts and consultants in group benefits in general.


Bachelors degree or equivalent.

4+ years related account management work experience required.

Must be able to acquire and maintain all required state licenses, as outlined by the Leading Financial Services Company within 90 days.

Advanced knowledge of industry products preferred.

Must have excellent persuasion, organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills.

Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc.

Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications preferred.

Must be able to maintain accuracy while being detail oriented.

Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.

Travel required (40-50%), including overnight stays.

May spend a minimum of 40% of time out of the office in face-to-face contact with customers and brokers.
