This position will support the Program Manager on the GlobalTechnical Pricing Program. The candidate will be responsible for initiatingproject level analysis and planning, and then transitioning work to projectteams and business owners.
The candidate will conduct research and analysis to quantifybusiness opportunities and issues and work as an intermediary between ITDevelopment Teams and business units to support business operations
The candidate will analyze business needs, identify/recommendproject approaches, initiate project requirements gathering for concept andfeasibility phases of projects. The candidate will also work on projects with amoderately wide - global scope involving multiple systems (regional, global).
Under general supervision, assist in defining, analyzing, andevaluating system requirements to solve business problems
Advise and consult on the implementation of systems modifications;use business knowledge to develop systems documentation and support the systemdevelopment life cycle from design through implementation
UI/UX designer who can design an end-to-end experience and who canbe an advocate for design-thinking and UX across the company.
Develop a range of UX deliverables, including user scenarios, IAdiagrams, wireframes, and high-resolution mockups.
Participate and lead design reviews with a range of cross-teamstakeholders.
Work closely with Product Managers, Developers and stakeholders tomake strategic product decisions.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Solve customer problems, identify user types, and create userjourneys, wireframes, prototypes, UI patterns, and high-fidelity designs in ahighly collaborative process with Product Managers and Developers.
Identify, develop and map Level I, II, III processes maps.
Develop formal recommendations for presentation to management thatmay impact business policies.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources,reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract upfrom low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish userrequests from the underlying true needs.
Being a liaison between the business unit, technology team, supportteam and project team.
Support test cycles particularly User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Design and document workflow and make recommendations that willpositively impact operational effectiveness.
Review current business processes and identifies areas where theprocesses need improvement / optimizing.
Manage and deliver process optimization projects.
Drive and challenge stakeholders on their assumptions of how theirprocesses can be improved.
Contribute and develop BSD's Knowledge Management & BestPractice function.
Must have Experience working on Rating/Pricing systems.
Must have experience with User Interface definition / UsabilityEngineering (human-computer interaction).
Experience in development of project documentation, testingmaterials and execution, training materials, requirements gathering includingdownstream and upstream interface requirements and adhering to a projectmanagement methodology is a must.
Project management skills, including scope definition, deadlinesand stakeholder management.
Previous experience working with actuarial algorithms is a plus.
Property/Casualty Insurance background is a plus.
Detail business analysis and design skills, business processmapping.
Strong PC and documentation skills, e.g. Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand technical concepts and approaches, andtranslate them into business terminology.
