Executive Assistant to CFO This individual will provide the broadest levels of support and assistance to the CFO across all professional and administrative needs. This role represents the day to day face of the CFO office and will engage with and build strong relationships with all senior members of the Executive team, particularly the CEO and his assistant, the rest of the leadership team, the Board of Directors, the broader Shake Shack home office and all key CFO relationships. This role provides extensive exposure to the workings of a public company and a young, fast-moving, high-growth business. A successful candidate will tackle any and all tasks to ensure the CFO can maximize her time to focus on strategic areas relating to the ongoing development of the business. As well as day-to-day support for the CFO, this individual will have the opportunity to assist and engage in a host of Shake Shack executive-led initiatives including leadership off-sites and strategy sessions, investor conferences, and employee events. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently. This person thrives at being mindful of details in an energetic, fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people, at all levels. This position will play an integral role in the daily flow, success and operations of Shake Shack.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the CFO's right hand, anticipating needs for maximum efficiency and impact with all communications, tasks, meetings & projects
  • Manage full calendar and scheduling commitments for maximum strategic impact
  • Manage all correspondence
  • Manage files for efficient and effective organization and reference
  • Manage all aspects of CFO travel and collate and file business expenses
  • Ensure that the CFO is ahead of, prepared for, and meets all key deadlines
  • Coordination of internal/external meetings, logistics and communications
  • Partner with EA to CEO re Board Meetings, Leadership offsites, Investor meetings and Home Office events
  • Support Annual Strategic Planning, Goal Setting & Performance Review Processes as well as Special Projects
  • All administrative support for the CFO

  • Previous experience in supporting a C-level executive preferred, and ability to provide references in that respect
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
